Nir Bitton uses Celtic’s draw with Manchester City in the Champions League to make a point about Celtic Park.

Celtic defensive midfielder Nir Bitton has told The Scottish Sun that the atmosphere at Celtic Park is better than at any ground in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old Israel international used Celtic’s draw with Manchester City at home last month to make the point.
The Bhoys played out a 3-3 draw with Premier League giants City at Celtic Park in Champions League Group C in September.

The atmosphere at Celtic Park was electric on the night and certainly helped Brendan Rodgers’s side pick up a point against arguably the best Premier League team.
Bitton has stated that the atmosphere at Celtic Park is better than at any stadium in the English top flight.
“Aguero has played for a long time in the Premier League, but with all due respect, they won’t have faced that kind of atmosphere in England,” Bitton told The Scottish Sun. “No stadium has that atmosphere Celtic Park has.”

Bitton’s claim about Celtic Park is quite confident and bold, but it could be right. Celtic fans are known to be hugely passionate and support their team strongly.
Now that the Hoops are in the Champions League group stage, mainland Europe and rest of the world will get to see the atmosphere at Celtic Park.
However, the atmosphere at some of the grounds in England are superb as well.
Anfield (Liverpool), Selhurst Park (Crystal Palace) and St. James’ Park (Newcastle United) are just three of the grounds in England with brilliant atmosphere.
