A lot of football fans – including Arsenal ones – questioned the decision to spend such a vast sum of money on the 23-year-old keeper.
But so far, he is looking unbelievable and that’s the word that Nina Bracewell-Smith – who sold her shares in the Emirates Stadium club a decade ago – used to describe the young English stopper on Twitter:
