Sam Allardyce’s comments about Nikola Vlasic’s frustrations had caused concerns about the Everton youngster’s future at Goodison Park.

Sam Allardyce confirmed that Vlasic had grown frustrated with his lack of chances in Everton’s first-team this week, and that sparked concerns that the youngster could leave in the summer.
However, Vlasic insists that he wants to remain at Everton, as he is very happy at Goodison Park.
“Since I was little I have always been fascinated by Spanish football….[I could see myself] playing [in] La Liga in the far future as well. Now I am solely focusing on Everton,” he said.

“I love how the fans here comment and cheer on every move you make on the pitch. For now, I could not picture myself anywhere else.”
Vlasic was brought in at Everton last summer from Hajduk Split for £10 million, and he caught the eye in the early part of the campaign.
The Croatian was one of the bright sparks during Ronald Koeman’s time in charge, but Allardyce has consistently overlooked him.

Allardyce has preferred other options in attacking midfield, much to Everton supporters’ frustrations.
Vlasic is very popular at Goodison Park, and the calls for him to be handed a chance are only growing louder by the week, as the Toffees’ form continues to disappoint.
Everton are next in action on Monday evening, when they take on in-form Newcastle United.
