Rangers defender Nikola Katic has been talking about his first season at Ibrox.

Rangers defender Nikola Katic has told the Daily Record he believes he is gaining Steven Gerrard’s trust.
Gerrard began the season with Katic in his line-up, before casting him aside in favour of Joe Worrall, and at times Gareth McAuley.
Over the past month Katic has come back into the Rangers team and renewed his partnership with Connor Goldson.
The pair were effective at the weekend in Rangers’ win over Hearts.
Katic told the Daily Record: “The manager obviously trusts me when he picks me to play.
“As I said, I am always ready and waiting to play. I trust him and I think he probably trusts me. So I am always waiting, waiting for a chance and feel ready to grab it.
“Of course I want to keep my shirt all the time now. I want to play every game in the season if I can.”

Katic was so impressive early in the season at Rangers and fans struggled to understand why Steven Gerrard was reluctant to pick him.
The Croatian defender added that he has been doing strength training in recent months so that he is more physically prepared for the rigours of the Scottish Premiership.
Katic coped well at the weekend and as it stands, is likely to keep his place for the Old Firm game against Celtic on May 12.
