Rangers picked up a fine 2-0 win over Celtic this afternoon.

Rangers claimed bragging rights in the final Old Firm derby of the season this afternoon, beating bitter rivals Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox.
Having lost 2-1 at Parkhead with 10 men in March, Rangers were looking for some revenge, whilst claiming a second Ibrox win over the Bhoys having beaten them 1-0 there in December.
In truth, this win was even better. Rangers were right at it from the first kick, and took the lead inside two minutes as James Tavernier’s free kick missed everybody and nestled in Scott Bain’s left-hand corner.
Celtic never got going as they struggled to cope with Rangers’ intensity, mustering just one shot on target in 90 minutes, and the Gers pressed home their superiority in the second half.
Glen Kamara’s fine skill got him away from Scott Brown, and Jermain Defoe dummied his pass, allowing Scott Arfield to sneak in and score past Bain to secure a 2-0 win.
Rangers saw out the game well and move six points adrift of Celtic, which is only important for psychological reasons given that Celtic have already won the title.
After the game, a number of Rangers players took to social to react to the win, with Nikola Katic particularly emotional, sharing his love for the club after such a great win.
The likes of Ross McCrorie, Joe Worrall, James Tavernier, Daniel Candeias, Scott Arfield, Glen Kamara and Connor Goldson also took to social media to celebrate, with all connected to Rangers in jubilant mood tonight.
