Rangers defender Nikola Katic was in action for Croatia Under-21’s last night.

Rangers have had a number of players in action during the international break, with Alfredo Morelos featuring for Colombia today against South Korea.
Some have featured a little closer to home, with Steven Davis and Kyle Lafferty playing for Northern Ireland, whilst Borna Barisic played for Croatia.
Whilst Barisic played for Croatia’s first team, fellow Rangers defender Nikola Katic has been playing for their Under-21’s, and started against Italy on Monday.
The 22-year-old has blown hot and cold this season for Rangers, and it was more of the same in a mixed performance for Croatia’s youngsters.
Katic was at fault for Italy’s first goal, as he misjudged a cross into the box and was beaten in the air by Alessandro Bastoni, who powered his header home.
Manuel Locatelli made it 2-0, and after Alen Halilovic pulled one back for Croatia, Katic had another big say in the game as Croatia snatched a 2-2 draw.

Katic appeared to handle the ball before Branimir Kalaica slammed home an equaliser, with Katic’s assist proving very controversial.
Rangers fans won’t be surprised by another up-and-down display from Katic, who is still vying for first-team football at Ibrox and may only be on the bench against Celtic on Sunday.
