Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers have already fallen behind Old Firm rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership table.

The Gers did not win even once against Celtic in the Scottish Premiership last season, as they ended up as many as 39 points behind Brendan Rodgers’s side in third place.
The Hoops won the league title during the 2016-17 campaign without losing a single match, and the Glasgow giants could repeat their heroics this time around.
Rangers attacking midfielder Kranjcar, 33, believes that Pedro Caixinha’s side can challenge for the Scottish Premiership title even if they lose all of their four league games against Celtic.

“We are playing against Celtic four times a year so to win the league you can lose all four and win the other games if they slip up,” The Scottish Sun quotes Kranjcar as saying.
“The Old Firm games by themselves are not going to win the league. It’s about what you do throughout the season.
“I think we have a good enough squad to compete with anyone in the league. The important thing for us is to have consistent results.”

While mathematically Rangers could win the Scottish Premiership title even if they lose all four league fixtures against Celtic, it is hard to see the Bhoys losing too many matches this season.
There is a very good chance that the Bhoys will go the entire season without losing a single match, and even if they lose, they are unlikely to suffer more than three or four defeats.
Rangers have already fallen five points behind Celtic in the league table this season, and they cannot afford to drop all 12 points in games against the Hoops.
