Rangers picked up an incredible win at the weekend, snatching a late goal against Motherwell to win 2-1 at Ibrox.

Mark Warburton’s side struggled at times to break down Motherwell, leaving Gers fans frustrated for much of the game in Glasgow.

But Rangers boss Warburton made some substitutions in the second half that turned the pattern of the game.

One of the men who came on was Croatian Niko Kranjcar.

The attacking midfielder has struggled with his fitness early on at Rangers and has spent much of his time on the bench.

Rangers’ midfielder put in a fantastic cameo, with his range of passing at an incredible level and the odd showboat thrown in to boot.

Kranjcar was a risky signing, considering his age and fitness, but it looks like he is on the path back to his best at Ibrox.

On Twitter, Rangers fans were in no doubt. If Warburton had not had thrown Kranjcar on at Ibrox, then Rangers would not have picked up a hard fought win…
