Gabby Agbonlahor has said on Amazon Prime Video (5:11pm, December 26, 2022) that Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is a nightmare to play against.
The former Aston Villa striker has outlined the attributes of Nunez, who joined Liverpool from Benfica in the summer of 2022.
The Amazon pundit made the comments before Liverpool’s Premier League match against Villa away from home at Villa Park on Boxing Day.
Nunez did not score, but the 23-year-old Uruguay international striker was a constant problem for the Villa defenders and was one of the best players on the pitch.

Agbonlahor said about Nunez: “He must be a nightmare to play against. His pace, making them runs down that channel, and he can finish.”

In our opinion, Darwin Nunez is a very good and promising young striker who could be a star for Liverpool for years to come.
The 23-year-old striker does miss chances, but he is very quick and makes some wonderful runs.
Nunez is very strong and gives Liverpool that physical presence in attack.
The former Benfica star is only 23, so we should be optimistic about him better in the coming years.
Nunez has scored five goals and given two assists in the Premier League and has scored three goals in the UEFA Champions League for Liverpool so far this season.
