Nigel Reo-Coker has praised Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for his performance against West Ham United, as quoted on BBC Sport.

Lloris was in action for Tottenham in their Premier League game against West Ham away from home at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The France international goalkeeper was superb for Spurs in their 1-0 win in the London derby and made four brilliant saves.

Former West Ham midfielder Reo-Coker was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance produced by the 31-year-old Tottenham star.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham central midfielder Micky Hazard has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Reo-Coker told BBC Sport (16:52): “Hugo Lloris has been fantastic for Tottenham. He has made three fantastic, world class saves and they owe this win to him today.”

“It was a great London derby,” added Reo-Coker (16:55). “Tottenham deserved it. Hugo Lloris immense for them, Erik Lamela was lively and the catalyst on the playing side of things.”

The win against West Ham means that Tottenham are now fourth in the Premier League table with 21 points from nine matches, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.

Spurs will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on PSV away from home in the Netherlands in Champions League Group B.
