West Bromwich Albion remain top of the Championship table after taking all three points back to The Hawthorns.

Nigel Quashie has taken to Twitter with a message praising West Bromwich Albion’s great result in the Championship today as well as hailing the “outstanding” Jake Livermore.
Slaven Bilic took his West Brom charges to Hull and Livermore, playing against his former club, put the Baggies ahead with a ferocious effort from the edge of the area after a short-corner routine shortly before the half hour mark.
Aside from the goal, the 29-year-old’s all-round game was great, with great defensive nous and endless energy, always being in the right place at the right time – arguably the only negative point was the booking which will see him miss the next match after the international break.
Livermore has previously come for some criticism during his time at The Hawthorns but he is firing on all cylinders and Quashie, who played for West Brom between 2006 and 2007, had words of praise for him:
West Brom are now unbeaten in six matches, but wins for both Preston and Leeds, over Huddersfield and Blackburn respectively, mean they remain just two points clear at the top of the table.
Up next for the Baggies is the Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday at The Hawthorns.
