Nigel Pearson worked with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on loan at Leicester City in 2013.

Pearson had England international Kane on loan at Leicester from Tottenham back in 2013.
The 24-year-old failed to make a massive impact at the Foxes, who were then in the Championship.
Former Leicester boss Pearson, who is now in charge of Belgian club OH Leuven, has admitted that he did not expect Kane to be the player that he is now.

“Harry was competent and I’m sure he’d look back on it as good experience,” Pearson told The Daily Star about Kane.
“But I wouldn’t have seen him reaching the heights he has hit. There was talk at the time of him going to Hull.”
“Harry was not afraid to say things in the dressing room and I thought that was pretty brave of him as a young player on loan,” added Pearson. “But on the whole, he was a quiet lad.”

Kane did not make too much of an impact when he was on loan at clubs such as Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester, but the 24-year-old has been a revelation under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Over the past three or so seasons, the striker has established himself as the first-choice striker at Tottenham.
The England international has won the Premier League Golden Boot for the past two seasons.
