According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard could be interested in signing Ben Woodburn on loan from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Gerrard was interested in securing the services of Woodburn in the summer of 2018 before the 19-year-old forward moved to Sheffield United on loan.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants the Wales international to go back out on loan for the second half of the season, and Rangers are claimed to be interested.
Rangers, though, are going to face competition for the young forward from Hull City in the Championship in England.
Hull manager Nigel Adkins has suggested that he is interested in securing the services of the youngster in the January transfer window.
The Tigers are just four points off the Championship playoff spots at the moment and are very much in the running for a top-six finish in the league table this season.

According to Goal.com, Hull, Brentford and Blackburn Rovers have made enquiries regarding the availability of Woodburn on loan.
Adkins told The Hull Daily Mail regarding Woodburn: “There will be loads of names. Ben Woodburn is a very talented young football player who can play in a couple of positions offensively.”
