Liverpool have been linked with a move for Nicolo Barella.

Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella has been quoted by Football Italia as saying that he is not thinking about the rumours surrounding his future right now.
Barella, 21, has come up through the ranks with hometown club Cagliari, and already has more than 60 first-team appearances to his name having become one of Serie A’s top young talents.
Barella has picked up his first two Italy caps over the international break, and looks set for a huge future with his country and for whichever club he sees his future with.
The 5ft 9in midfielder is being linked with a host of clubs, and The Express recently reported that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is confident of beating off competition from Tottenham Hotspur to sign him.
Relations are strong after Liverpool allowed Cagliari to sign defender Ragnar Klavan in August, and the Reds may well launch a 2019 move for the Italian in a bid to bolster their midfield.
Quick and technically gifted but also willing to put his foot in, Barella could become an all-round midfielder in the coming years, but he isn’t focusing on speculation.

Barella has now been quoted by Football Italia as saying that he is proud of the interest in his signature, but he isn’t thinking about a transfer right now, instead leaving that to agents, clubs and directors.
“The interest of big teams makes me proud, because it means I am doing well,” said Barella. “For now I’m not thinking about the transfer market, as there are agents, directors and clubs for that,” he added.
