Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe enjoyed a strong performance against Norwich City on Saturday – and fans must be impressed with his key passes.
The Gunners simply had to beat Norwich after three defeats in a row to start the new Premier League season.
It was only 1-0 as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagged the only goal of the game, but it could have been much more comfortable.
Arsenal had a ridiculous 30 shots on Saturday, with only seven on target. Creating that many chances is great, and hopefully that finishing touch will come.
One of the reasons for so many shots was the creativity of winger Pepe – who inadvertently bagged the assist for Aubameyang’s goal as the ball bounced off him.
Pepe shines as Arsenal’s chief creator
The stats show that Pepe was Arsenal’s most creative player on the day.
Pepe racked up six key passes in 90 minutes, whilst he even had the most shots with six.
Bukayo Saka was in second for key passes with four as Pepe showed what he can bring going forward.
Only one other Arsenal player has managed six key passes in one game this season – Kieran Tierney against Brentford.

Arsenal fans know how important Tierney is, but Pepe’s stats on Saturday show that he can be just as vital too.
Those six key passes in one game are more than Riyad Mahrez, Mason Mount, Steven Bergwijn, James Maddison and Jadon Sancho have managed all season.
Pepe hasn’t always hit top form with Arsenal, but let’s hope this creative display against Norwich sparks consistency.
