Tottenham Hotspur should consider a move for the Hannover 96 hitman this summer.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will surely be looking to bolster his centre-forward department at White Hart Lane this summer, in an effort to keep Harry Kane on his toes.
The Argentine has tried, and subsequently failed, to bring in an able-bodied understudy for the England international over the past couple of years.
Vincent Janssen was brought in from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2016, before Fernando Llorente was signed from Swansea City the following summer, and neither of those two have established themselves in north London.
Maybe it will be third time lucky for Poch this summer, and an interesting option for them could be Hannover 96 hitman Niclas Fullkrug, who was in fine form for his club last season.
The 25-year-old scored 16 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions for Hannover, and he really impressed with his all-round game.
Standing at 6ft 2in tall, Fullkrug is incredibly strong in the air, and excels when playing with his back to goal.
The German would provide not only more stringent competition for Harry Kane at Tottenham, but also Pochettino with an entirely different option through the middle, should the need arise for the Argentine to employ a plan B.
According to Transfer Market, Fullkrug is valued at £7.1 million, and if Spurs could bring him to north London for somewhere in that region, it would surely turn out to be a real coup for the club.
