Leeds United are said to be interested in signing Wigan Athletic attacking midfielder Nick Powell.

According to TeamTalk, Leeds United are interested in signing Nick Powell and if they bring him in, then Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford should be jumping for joy.

Roofe and Bamford have already shown signs of promise when leading Leeds’ line so far this season.

But the addition of Powell would make the Whites an even greater attacking threat.

If Marcelo Bielsa’s side could find a system which incorporated the creativity of Pablo Hernandez, Samu Saiz and Powell all behind the striker, then they would have some of the most dangerous attacking options in all of the Championship.

Hernandez, Saiz and Powell are all wonderful playmakers in advanced areas, and create spaces for others out of nothing.

Roofe and Bamford already can have no complaints about the service they are getting at Leeds, but with Powell included they could have even more chances forged for them.

And Leeds would become a striker’s dream club, if Powell is added to their squad, before the close of the transfer deadline.
