Nick Kyrgios has only played a handful of tournaments these last few years.
After reaching the Wimbledon final in 2022, the Aussie began to struggle with injury.
He played one tournament in 2023, none in 2024, four in 2025, and one so far in 2026 (singles).
Kyrgios has, however, played more doubles as his injury issues persist.

The 30-year-old played with Thanasi Kokkinakis at the Brisbane International and the Australian Open last month.
It’s unclear when and where we will see Kyrgios return to tennis, but his latest Instagram story suggested who he will partner with in doubles next.
Nick Kyrgios agrees to play doubles with India’s Dhakshineswar Suresh
On Instagram, Kyrgios asked fans to send in their questions.
One fan asked the following.
“Can we see Dk Suresh [Dhakshineswar Suresh] pairing with you for doubles? That’d be incredible,” they asked.
Kyrgios responded with a picture of him and Suresh playing doubles together at a recent exhibition event.

“I’m in,” he said.
Suresh is ranked outside the world’s top 400, but he clearly established a connection with Kyrgios during December’s World Tennis League exhibition in India.
Kyrgios and Suresh were members of the victorious ‘Aussie Maverick Kites’ team that won the title in Bengaluru, India.
Growing his popularity in India, Suresh played a starring role in the nation’s upset Davis Cup win over the Netherlands last weekend.
Suresh won all three matches he played (two singles, one doubles), as India defeated the Netherlands 3-2, knocking the 2024 runners-up out of the competition.

Writing his name in Indian tennis history, Suresh has more than earned an opportunity to team with one of the biggest stars in the sport.
Whatever happens with Kyrgios, the Indian number four will have something to look forward to later this year, when his nation takes on South Korea for a spot in the Davis Cup Finals.
When can we expect Nick Kyrgios to return?
It’s unclear if Kyrgios is fit to compete right now, but if he is, there’s a good chance we’ll see him back in action at the ‘Sunshine Double’ Masters 1000 events.
In 2025, he played both Indian Wells and the Miami Open.
At Indian Wells, Kyrgios lost to Botic van de Zandschulp in the first round, 6-7, 0-3 (RET).
However, in Miami, the Aussie won his first singles match since 2022, beating America’s Mackenzie McDonald in three sets to reach the second round.
He was unable to win back-to-back matches, though, and fell to Karen Khachanov in round two.
Only time will tell if he will return for more in 2026…
The 2026 Indian Wells Masters 1000 event begins on Monday, March 2.
