West Bromwich Albion, Ipswich Town and Hull City reportedly want Conor Townsend of Scunthorpe United.

According to The Daily Mail, West Brom – who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League – are interested in signing Townsend from Scunthorpe in the summer transfer window.
Hull City and Ipswich Town are also claimed to be interested in the 25-year-old left-back this summer.
Scunthorpe manager Daws has suggested that he wants to keep hold onto the former Hull prospect, but he has admitted that the League One outfit could be forced to sell if a suitable offer comes in.
The Birmingham Mail quotes Daws as saying about Townsend: “Conor has been excellent and his application and attitude to training and game time has been superb.
“If there is interest from above, matched with a bid or offer that matches or exceeds our expectations then it becomes a challenge. That is something myself and other managers are having to deal with.
“Conor is contracted to us, is performing well, looks fit and sharp and is enjoying his football. We hope Conor is here not only for this season but beyond that.”

Quality footballer
Townsend struggled to make an impact during his time at Hull, but the left-back has been superb for Scunthorpe.
The 25-year-old is one of the best left-backs in League One, and he has the potential and quality to step up to the Championship.
West Brom could do with talented left-back, and the Baggie would be making a good signing if they are able to secure Townsend from Scunthorpe.
