Rangers midfielder Steven Davis has not been a regular starter at Ibrox.

Rangers midfielder Steven Davis has had an underwhelming start to his second spell at Ibrox since joining on loan.
It was always a possibility, after arriving mid-season, and considering he is 34-years-old.
Ex-Rangers assistant Jimmy Nicholl has backed Davis to come good next season, assuming he joins permanently.
Nicholl told The Herald: “You don’t remain captain of Southampton under five or six different managers if you’re not doing something right and contributing on the park that everyone gives you respect.
“He’ll be disappointed he hasn’t played more often, but he’ll be hoping to play a lot more between now and the end of season and next year he will be a benefit to the club.”
Manager Steven Gerrard was quoted by The Star this week confirming he wants Davis to sign.

The midfielder will be out of contract in the summer when his contract at Southampton expires, and Gerrard’s comments make it a formality.
Davis can put it beyond doubt with strong performances before the end of the campaign, and set himself up to start next season with a flourish.
Nicholl added: “He was outstanding for two games recently with Northern Ireland, he’s full of enthusiasm, he was outstanding when he had barely kicked a ball here.”
