Nice are making a late bid to Marseille to sign Bamba Dieng and stop the forward from moving to Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United on the final day of the summer transfer window, according to La Provence (Transfer Live biog, 4:30pm UK time, September 1, 2022).

The French publication has claimed that Leeds have reached an agreement with Marseille over the signing of Dieng.
The Premier League club will reportedly pay the French outfit €10 million (£8.62 million) in transfer fees for the 22-year-old Senegal international forward.
Earlier today, Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani said on Twitter that the Elland Road faithful should welcome Dieng.
It seemed that Leeds were confident of signing the youngster, but now Nice are making a late move.
La Provence (Transfer Live biog, 4:30pm UK time, September 1, 2022) have reported that Nice have revived their intestine the forward and are making a late bid.
The report has added that Marseille will only sell Dieng to Nice if their offer is better than the one they have from Leeds.
