The dynamic striking duo hit it off perfectly together in the 2-1 victory over Swansea.

Marco Silva will have learned at least one thing from Hull’s 2-1 victory over Swansea – why use one striker when you can play two, particularly when your main men are in such a purple patch?
Oumar Niasse and Abel Hernandez, both quick, rangy players that have found Premier League life tough in the past, are now looking more at home than ever before, and together against Swansea, they were electric.
On loan Everton forward Niasse scored both goals against the Swans, but will have Hernandez to thank in part for both. A first-time ball from Hernandez split the Swansea backline and allowed Niasse a simple finish for his first of the afternoon.
Mere minutes later, it was two, as Hernandez’s pursuit of a cross caused chaos in the Swansea defence, once more leaving Niasse with the formality of finishing at close range.
Marco Silva’s bold move to bring on Niasse for a midfielder proved to be a masterstroke, and in doing so, he may have hit upon a crucial partnership. While the Tigers will doubtless revert back to a more defensive approach in their tougher upcoming matches – Niasse will be ineligible for their next game against parent club Everton – they now seem to possess an ace card, and will be only too willing to use it.
