Speaking to Sky Sports, former Premier League striker Niall Quinn has claimed Sadio Mane could end up becoming the most inspired signing of the summer.
The forward joined the Reds in the summer transfer window in a big-money move from Southampton.
At the time eyebrows were raised about the price that Jurgen Klopp’s team had paid for his services but since then he has gone on to prove the doubters wrong with six goals in ten game so far.

Indeed, if he continues to impress his price tag will start to look like something of a bargain and Quinn says he could up being the most inspired signing this summer.
“When Transfer Deadline Day passed without Jurgen Klopp buying a shiny new striker I wondered if he had feet of clay after all,” he told Sky Sports.
“With 30 goals from 11 Premier League games and a top of the table seat Klopp has won that argument [although] I still think he might splurge for a top forward in January.”
“In the meanwhile, if Sadio Mane can escape the inconsistency he suffered from at Southampton he could prove to be the most inspired buy of the season.”

Liverpool will certainly be hoping that Mane can continue to impress for the remainder of the season.
He has been in impressive form so far this season, with his goals helping Liverpool to the top of the table.
Staying there is going to be tough for the Reds given the competition for the title this season and they will need Mane, as well as Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, to perform throughout to ensure they are champions.
