Aberdeen winger McGinn is likely to start on Wednesday night as the Dons face Rangers.

Niall McGinn has told Sky Sports that he is expecting Rangers to be challenging their Old Firm rivals and his former side Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title – and reckons Steven Gerrard has started well to life at Ibrox.
Rangers have qualified for the Europa League group stage and are in with a chance of qualifying for the knockout phase, while also sitting at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
However, Celtic are just one point behind the Gers with a game in hand, having beaten The Dons in the Scottish League Cup final on Sunday while Rangers beat Hearts in the league.
Former Celtic attacker McGinn is expecting to see Rangers and the Bhoys at the top of the table come May and hopes Aberdeen will be there too, and applauded Gerrard for his Rangers start.
“I just think it’s going to be a different league this season,” McGinn said. “Everyone is beating everyone. You expect Celtic and Rangers will be up there, pushing for the title and we hope to be doing the same.
“We knew every time we come up against Rangers this season that the spotlight will always be on the manager [Gerrard]. He’s had a great career and it’s his first managerial role, so the spotlight is always going to be on him.
“He’s taken everything in his stride, he’s started well – he’s started the season well.”

Rangers take on Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday night, the first time the two sides have met since Derek McInnes’ side knocked the Gers out of the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
Rangers could welcome back Borna Barisic from injury after he featured for 45 minutes in a reserve match on Thursday, but they will be without the suspended Scott Arfield and injured Ryan Kent.
