The Welshman joined the Potters’ on a one year loan this summer from Everton.

Everton loanee Ashley Williams has made a disappointing start to his Stoke City career and some Everton fans are revelling in the fact that he is no longer their problem.
The 34-year-old was sent off 77 minutes into his home debut against Wigan last night, after collecting two yellow cards in 12 minutes.
The central defender, who joined on loan from Everton in the summer, was warned not to get sent off by Potters’ boss Gary Rowett after receiving his first caution.
Williams, who has now been sent off in two of his last three league appearances, arrived at Goodison Park from Swansea for £12.6 million in August 2016 but never looked comfortable in an Everton shirt.

New manager Marco Silva was quick to move the centre-back on when he took the Everton job and Toffees fans were clearly glad to see the back of the Wales International.
Williams’ latest defensive error appears to have confirmed their opinions of the defender, and some fans took to Twitter to voice their relief that he was no longer at their club.
