Zidane has become the bookies favourite to be the next Manchester United manager.

Zinedine Zidane is reportedly interested in a management role in the Premier League, with Manchester United his destination of choice, but some of the Red Devils’ fan base have jumped to the support of their current boss.
According to Le Equipe, the former Real Madrid is considering his next management role with England, and Old Trafford is in his sights.
Having joined Real Madrid Castilla in 2014, Zidane was chosen to manage the senior team when Rafa Benitez left in 2016, and went on to win three consecutive Champions League titles, 1 La Liga title and 1 Spanish Super Cup.
Zidane may not be waiting long for his next job, as traditionally Mourinho rarely lasts more than three seasons at one club and at the beginning of this, his third, cracks have begun to show.

It has been an eventful summer for Mourinho, who has publicly criticised Manchester United’s lack of transfer action, and reportedly fallen out with Paul Pogba. Mourinho has also confirmed that Antony Martial was also fined for not returning to the club’s pre-season tour (he had apparently been given permission to leave after two games to be present at the birth of his child).
The arrival of Zidane might be an ideal situation for the two Frenchmen, both of whom appear to have strained relationships with their current manager and may welcome a fresh start at Manchester United.
But despite the former French World Cup winning captain becoming the bookies favourite to be the next Old Trafford boss a large part of the Old Trafford faithful have taken to Twitter to voice their support of their current coach.
