The Brentford striker scored both his side’s goals against Villa at Griffin Park.

Brentford striker Neal Maupay has been given a three-match ban for his stamp on Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn, but some Villa fans are unsatisfied and feel it is too little too late.
According to Sky Sports, the Frenchman has accepted the Violent Conduct charge for the stamp, which took place in the 42 minute of Wednesday night’s 2-2 draw at Griffin Park.
The Referee appeared not to see the offence at the time but the Football Association has now taken retrospective action, meaning Maupay will now miss the Bees’ next three fixtures.
The 22-year-old is currently the Championship’s leading scorer and scored 2 of his 5 goals last night, leaving a sour taste in Villa fans’ mouths.

After putting Brentford ahead in the 23rd minute, Maupay’s second goal came in the 82nd minute, more than half an hour after his stamp on McGinn, and some Villa fans have taken to Twitter to highlight this injustice, suggesting that the ban is little use to them.
