The off-white third kit has not gone down well with some West Ham fans.

Fans enjoy the atmosphere during the Premier League match between West Ham United and Everton at London Stadium on May 13, 2018 in London, England.

It has been an exciting summer so far for West Ham United fans.

In May they hired Premier League winning manager Manuel Pelligrini, and the Argentine has since made a number of impressive additions to the squad.

The East London club’s signings have been particularly impressive in midfield / attacking positions, with Jack Wilshere brought in on a free transfer, Andriy Yarmolenko signed from Borussia Dortmund for £18 million, and Felipe Anderson arriving for a record £36 million fee from Lazio.

It has not all been plain sailing for the Hammers, however, on Thursday, Footyheadlines, a site notorious for leaking new kits, posted images of the site believes is the club’s third strip for the upcoming season – and fans are less than impressed.

The new kit is off-white with thin claret and blue stripes on the shoulders, a claret Umbro logo and a claret crest with a blue border.

The home and away kits were released earlier in the summer and were really well received by most West Ham fans, but while the new kit has obviously not undone any of the good work that the club has done in preparation for the 2018/19 season, it has left some Hammers fans scratching their heads.
