The Dutchman made 141 appearances for United and won three trophies.

Manchester United have sold versatile Dutchman Daley Blind to Ajax for a fee that could rise to £18.1 million, and fans have praised him for his service to the club.
The 28-year-old returns to his boyhood club on a 4-year-deal, 4 years after he left Ajax for Old Trafford in a deal worth €17.5 million (£15.5 million).
The Dutch international posted a 3-part emotional farewell on Twitter, thanking the fans and the club and saying “he would never forget some of the special games and moments”.
Blind made 141 appearances for United and played a range of positions, including left-back, centre-back, and defensive midfield.

Having been a favourite of Louis Van Gaal, the Dutch international made 39 appearances in Jose Mourinho’s first season in charge, but made just 17 in 2017/18 and was always likely to move on this summer.
The move fits all three parties involved and though some of the Old Trafford may be glad to see the back of him, they have paid their respect to a player who gave his all for the club.
