The Brazilian arrived from Lazio for a club record fee of £35 million in the summer.

Following an exciting summer transfer window that saw new boss Manuel Pelligrini spend £92 million and attract some exciting names to the London Stadium, it has been a sobering start to the season for West Ham United.
After three consecutive Premier League defeats, the Hammers picked up their first win of the season against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup last night, coming from behind to overcome the League One side who had 10 men for most of the game.
A shining light during this testing time for the East London side has been the performances of summer signing Felipe Anderson, who even at this early stage looks a quality addition.
The Brazilian joined from Lazio for a club record fee £35 million in the summer transfer window and has seemed unaffected by his price tag, regularly looking a class above his teammates and carrying a swagger which should excite supporters.

In Italy, there were some question marks over the 25-year-old’s attitude, but despite his club’s shaky start, Anderson looks full of enthusiasm every time he pulls on the claret and blue shirt.
Having come on at half time against Wimbledon with his side trailing 1-0, Anderson changed the tempo of the game, giving his side an intensity in their attacking play and creating a number of opportunities before he provided the assist for Issa Diop’s equaliser.
The Brazil international will surely only get better as he settles into English football and develops a greater understanding with his new teammates, but early signs indicate West Ham have done a brilliant bit of business by attracting Anderson to the club.
