Manchester United’s 20-year-old started showed some signs of promise against AC Milan.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have made an approach for Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire but fans were praising a young defender already at the club after the win over AC Milan on penalties.
United won a mammoth penalty shootout 9-8 after they failed to win in 90 minutes for the third consecutive time on their US pre-season tour.
Alexis Sanchez, the standout player on the night, put Jose Mourinho’s side one up in the 12th minute, coolly slotting the ball past Gianluigi Donnarumma after a smart flick by Juan Mata.
Milan equalised a few minutes later, when some questionable defending and a lifted through ball left Suso through on goal.
United started the game with Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling and Axel Tuanzebe at centre-back and, despite the costly mistake for the goal, Red Devils’ fans took a lot of positives from the latter’s performance.

The 20-year-old by no means had a flawless game but he showed some traits which indicated he could have a bright future ahead.
A graduate of the United academy, Tuanzebe has made just eight first-team appearances at the club but the some of the Old Trafford faithful were clearly excited by the promise he showed when Mourinho gave him his chance against Milan.
