The striker has made just 15 appearances for Everton, scoring once.

Everton forward Sandro Ramirez is reportedly a target for La Liga side Real Sociedad and some Blues fans are excited at the prospect of getting the striker off their books.

According to Marca, Sociedad are working on a move for the striker and are open to either a loan or a permanent transfer.

The report states that Sandro is not in Marco Silva’s plans for the season and is looking for a move away from the club to kick-start his career again.

A hotly tipped Barcelona academy graduate, Sandro impressed at both Barcelona and Malaga before he made the switch to the Toffees, but he never looked comfortable in English football.

The 23-year-old arrived at Goodison Park from Malaga for £5.4 million in the summer of 2017 and made 15 appearances for the club, scoring only once, before joining Sevilla on loan in January 2018.

His time at Sevilla was similarly disappointing, as he failed to score in 18 appearances for the Spanish club.

Despite appearing a bargain buy at just £5.2 million, the forward is one of the highest earners at the club on more than £100,000 a week, which could be why many of the Goodison Park faithful are so happy at his reported potential departure.

Everton fans took to Twitter to comment on the Sociedad interest, with some suggesting they had forgotten the striker was still at the club.
