Tottenham Hotspur are undoubtedly a club on the rise.

Former NFL star and Tottenham fan Tim Masthay sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and raved about the quality of the current setup at Spurs, comparing the training facilities to the ones used by his former team the Green Bay Packers.

Since Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment as manager way back in May 2014, the Lilywhites have firmly established themselves as one of the continent’s most exciting young sides.

It is not just on the pitch where things have improved, though.

Tottenham’s training facilities have been updated to a state-of-the-art setup, and there is also the small matter of their move to their new 62,000 capacity stadium just months away.

Masthay spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and offered high words of praise for the current setup at Spurs, comparing it to the one at the Green Bay Packers:

“The facilities here at the training ground are first-rate. I can’t imagine anyone’s got it better, so it was great to see that and it reminded me a lot of when I played in Green Bay and what the facilities were like there.”

Despite all of the exciting goings on behind the scenes, what Tottenham fans really crave is success on the pitch, and Pochettino’s men have a great opportunity to deliver that this season.

They are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, and are still fighting for a place inside the top four of the Premier League table.

A top four finish and the FA Cup would surely constitute a successful campaign for Spurs, and would be a wonderful platform for them to go on to achieve bigger and better things next term.
