Neymar has no interest in Newcastle United despite suggestions that he could leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

PSG are going through major changes this summer after their quite ridiculous Champions League capitulation against Real Madrid.

Mauricio Pochettino has gone, Luis Campos is in as sporting director and it looks like Christophe Galtier will be in as their new manager.

This feels like a whole new direction for PSG and having secured a new deal for Kylian Mbappe, there may now be a big exit with Neymar’s future unclear.

Neymar has no interest in Newcastle

Neymar won’t be the top dog at PSG anymore with Mbappe the clear poster boy, and that could mean a departure.

L’Equipe, as noted by Get French Football News, report that Neymar will have his contract automatically extended until 2027.

There are still doubts about Neymar’s future though and PSG have been non-committal when discussing Neymar’s situation.

The problem for PSG is that Neymar’s enormous salary – around £670,000-a-week or €3.4million-a-month according to some reports – is almost impossible for any other club to pay.

The report claims that Newcastle United would like to sign Neymar, but the Brazilian has made it clear that he has no interest in joining the Magpies.

It’s somewhat difficult to see Neymar calling Newcastle home, and whilst PIF’s funding will appeal to many players, Neymar seemingly isn’t one of them.

PIF may see Neymar as a dream marquee signing; think Robinho at Manchester City.

Yet it seems like Newcastle want to build gradually with smart signings rather than blowing all of their cash on a player like Neymar.

The 30-year-old has been an incredible talent throughout his career but it seems that we won’t be seeing him in the Premier League any time soon.
