Neymar has said on Instagram that he is now ready to play for Brazil, with his international teammate and Manchester United midfielder Fred and Aston Villa playmaker Philippe Coutinho delighted with the update.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has posted images of him in training with Brazil ahead of the Round of 16 tie against South Korea in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The former Barcelona forward suffered an ankle injury in Brazil’s opening match against Serbia.
Neymar missed the subsequent group stage games against Switzerland and Cameroon.
However, it seems that the 30-year-old has recovered from his injury.
As you can see below, Neymar, arguably the best and most talented player in the current Brazil team, has said on Instagram that he feels good.
Manchester United midfielder Fred, who is also part of the Brazil squad for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, is delighted with the update, and so is Aston Villa attacking midfielder Coutinho, who was left out.

You can see their responses below.
If Neymar is able to start against South Korea, then it will enhance Brazil’s chances of winning the Round of 16 tie.
However, we should not be surprised if Neymar actually starts on the bench against the Asian team and then comes on in the second half.
