The former Santos star has said that he is not worried about Celtic supporters booing him at Celtic Park on Tuesday evening.
Neymar has also shared his opinion on Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, who has guided the Glasgow giants to the group stage of the Champions League for the second season in a row.
“Booing does not bother me — it’s boring, but that’s it,” Neymar told The Scottish Sun. “If anybody thinks they can affect my game by booing then they are wasting their time.
“I have been booed enough times in enough stadiums for it not to even bother me. What happened in any previous games with Celtic is not important now — I am not even at the same club any more.”
“I think this coach maybe likes to play football more than other Celtic teams I have faced,” said Neymar about Rodgers.
“He has worked with players like Luis Suarez and Coutinho at Liverpool — and we know his teams like to score goals.”
