Robbie Savage is confident that both Roberto De Zerbi and Thomas Frank would reject the Tottenham Hotspur manager job, if offered it.

The Premier League pair have been linked with taking over the vacancy in N17 for a number of weeks.

However, Robbie Savage has assured Tottenham Hotspur that their search for a new manager will prolong if they target Roberto De Zerbi and Thomas Frank.

Robbie Savage says Roberto De Zerbi & Thomas Frank would snub Tottenham manager job

For starters, Brighton are just five points off Spurs with three games in hand, as De Zerbi continues to weave his magic.

As for Frank at the Bees, he is currently enjoying his greatest-ever campaign with the club, which has also seemingly made him unlikely to bid adieu to the Gtech Community Stadium.

Robbie Savage has given his two cents on why the Tottenham manager hotseat will remain vacant if they come calling for either Roberto De Zerbi or Thomas Frank.

“Thomas Frank and Roberto De Zerbi have both earned the right to be in for the Spurs job”, he wrote in column for the Mirror.

“But, why would they leave Brentford and Brighton, they are challenging for Europe and secure. You could end up in the job at Spurs for 20 games [and] then [get] sacked.”

HITC View: Robbie Savage is partly right

With both Brighton and Brentford flying, Robbie Savage makes a good point about Roberto De Zerbi and Thomas Frank perhaps not being enticed by the prospect of becoming the next Tottenham manager.

In terms of claiming that the Lilywhites have a culture of swiftly sacking managers, that is quite off the mark.

While things have ended on sour notes between the club and coaches in recent memory, it would inaccurate to claim that any of the managers involved did not eventually deserve the sack.

And each and every one, barring Nuno Esporito Santo, who did massively underwhelm in N17 were given a fair crack of the whip.
