It has been reported that Tottenham Hotspur have held further talks with Julian Nagelsmann over becoming their next manager.

Just last Friday, a report emerged that the former Bayern Munich boss has ‘fans’ within the Spurs camp.

As it seems like a bulk of Tottenham Hotspur supporters are keen on Julian Nagelsmann becoming their manager, the news about a second round of talks will likely excite them.

Nagelsmann holds further talks over Tottenham manager job

Ever since the Bundesliga giants let the German tactician leave, the appreciation for him has only grown, as he was doing an admirable job in Bavaria.

So much so that even Joshua Kimmich expressed his surprise at his countryman’s sacking, branding him as an ‘outstanding coach’, as quoted by the Irish Independent.

Onto the Tottenham manager job, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenburg has claimed that Daniel Levy is ‘pushing more and more’ to ensure Julian Nagelsmann makes his way to N17.

As for Nagelsmann, he considers Spurs as a ‘serious option’ and also views them as a ‘big club’ with ‘big potential.’

However, the highly-rated manager wants to take his time before taking a final decision and would also like to have a say in transfers.

It is worth noting that currently, the club do not even have an active sporting director in charge.

HITC View: The Nagelsmann deal could get over the line

By the sounds of things, it seems like if Tottenham get their house in order by having a plan in place and go on to appoint a director of football, Julian Nagelsmann could agree to become their next manager.

However, Nagelsmann, having been unfairly sacked by Bayern seems to be wary about his forthcoming career step and naturally so.

All Spurs seemingly need to do is operate like a club that aims to lift silverware and back the ex-RB Leipzig coach’s ideas, and a deal could be struck.

Managerial updates do not get more exciting for Spurs supporters.
