Dino Toppmoller may not follow Tottenham Hotspur target Julian Nagelsmann amid interest from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Oliver Glasner is set to leave Eintracht Frankfurt and Dino Toppmoller is wanted as a replacement according to Sport1.
It’s stated that Toppmoller has wanted to be get back into management for a while now and is thought to be a ‘hot’ candidate for the Frankfurt job.
Frankfurt are parting ways with boss Oliver Glasner this summer after a difficult run of form.
Frankfurt haven’t won a Bundesliga game since the 18th of February and are now 10 league games without a win.
Glasner has taken just five points from a possible 30 and his future has now been settled with a summer exit coming.
Glasner is a candidate for the Tottenham Hotspur job this summer according to claims from the Daily Mail back in March.
Toppmoller, 42, has managed in Belgium and Luxembourg but is now primed to replace Glasner – in a potential blow for Julian Nagelsmann.

Dino Toppmoller to Tottenham could be ruled out
Toppmoller is one of Nagelsmann’s most trusted lieutenants having served as his assistant with two clubs.
Toppmoller worked with Nagelsmann at RB Leipzig and then followed him to Bayern Munich in 2021.
Both men were sacked in March as Bayern went in a new direction but Nagelsmann may have hoped to reunite.
The German appears to be the top choice for the Tottenham job with Sport1 suggesting that he is waiting to see what happens with their sporting director position.
Nagelsmann would have surely wanted to see Toppmoller join him in North London and keep their partnership going.
Instead, Toppmoller could end up replacing Glasner – another manager Tottenham are keen on – in a strange turn of events.
