Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his admiration for Roberto De Zerbi, who has been linked with the Tottenham Hotspur managerial job.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a permanent manager, and Brighton and Hove Albion boss De Zerbi is on their radar.
The Daily Mail reported in April that Brighton boss De Zerbi is one of the managers that Tottenham are considering appointing in the summer of 2023.
The report claimed that Spurs have already made “made initial enquiries as to what it might take to lure De Zerbi to north London for next season”.
Brighton are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 52 points from 31 matches.
The Seagulls hammered Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-0 at home in the Premier League this weekend.
De Zerbi was appointed the Brighton boss earlier in the season following the departure of Graham Potter to Chelsea.
The 43-year-old Italian manager has taken Brighton to another level, and Liverpool boss Klopp has been impressed.

Jurgen Klopp on Tottenham Hotspur-linked Roberto De Zerbi
Klopp said on BBC MOTD: “Brighton played one of the best football games this weekend I’ve ever seen in my life, I have to say, Roberto De Zerbi, wow. They are behind us with two games in hand.”
Impressive
In our view, Roberto De Zerbi has done a very good and impressive job at Brighton and Hove Albion.
And we are not at all surprised that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has taken an interest in him.
However, we do not think that the 43-year-old will leave Brighton for Spurs this summer.
After all, the Italian tactician was appointed in his current role at the Seagulls only in September 2022.
