Tottenham Hotspur have Thomas Frank, Julian Nagelsmann, Vincent Kompany and Arne Slot as four top managerial contenders.
Spurs parted ways with Antonio Conte last Sunday and Daniel Levy will be weighing up his options.
The Daily Star claim that Mauricio Pochettino will not be returning to Spurs and Tottenham have already informed him of that.
That report also suggests that four key names are on Daniel Levy’s wish list.
It’s stated that Levy’s preferred candidates include Thomas Frank, Julian Nagelsmann and Vincent Kompany as well as Arne Slot.
None of them are available to take the job right now and would be looking to wait until summer.
Tottenham at least have Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason in charge until the end of the season, briding the gap to the next boss.

Next Tottenham manager: who will Levy go for?
Nagelsmann would probably be the dream appointment out of those four managers.
The 35-year-old has just been sacked by Bayern Munich and will be looking for a new job this summer.
Nagelsmann was on Tottenham’s radar in 2021 and Spurs would no doubt love to finally land him, but convincing him into making the move to North London will be tricky.
The other three are all currently employed, which is a potential issue.
Frank continues to work wonders with Brentford, turning them into a solid Premier League side.
The Dane has picked up wins over Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool this season; no teams likes to face Frank’s Brentford side.
Kompany is on the verge of winning promotion with Burnley, playing a sensational brand of football in the process.
The jump in expectation from Burnley to Spurs is huge though and whilst Kompany has a huge profile from his playing days, this would be a risky move.
Then there is Slot, who is closing in on the Eredivisie title with Feyenoord this season.
Feyenoord have been superb this season and are even into the last eight of the Europa League with Slot working minor miracles in Rotterdam.
We can imagine that Nagelsmann is the top choice for Tottenham but Slot and Frank will be right up there with Kompany maybe the least likely.
