Graeme Souness has said that Tottenham Hotspur fans would not like it if chairman Daniel Levy brought in Brendan Rodgers.
The Liverpool legend has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:24pm, April 30, 2023) that Rodgers, who has been linked with Tottenham, could have relegation attached to his CV if Leicester go down.
The former Celtic manager recently parted ways with Leicester.
The former Premier League champions are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Football Insider have reported that Tottenham chairman Levy has Rodgers, 50, on his list of potential managerial candidates.

Souness said: “Brendan Rodgers could have his name attached to relegation if Leicester were to go down. Is that a fit for Spurs? Spurs supporters will be up in arms about that.”

HITC Verdict: Leicester struggles not an issue
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur fans will not be too bothered by Brendan Rodgers’s struggles at Leicester City this season.
The 50-year-old did well during his spell as manager of Liverpool, and he also won trophies after trophies with Celtic in Scotland.
And Rodgers almost guided Leicester to the UEFA Champions League places in the Premier League table.
The former Liverpool manager plays good football and can build teams, and a few bad months at Leicester does not change that at all.
