Ben Mee has given an insight about what he has heard from his former Burnley teammates about working under Tottenham Hotspur manager target Vincent Kompany.
It was reported on Thursday that the Belgian tactician was Daniel Levy’s No.1 choice to take over the role in N17.
Ben Mee has now lifted the lid on what he has heard about Tottenham Hotspur manager target Vincent Kompany, who is breaking barriers as Burnley boss.
Ben Mee opens up on Vincent Kompany assessment
Pundit duo Johan Boskamp and Ander van der Meyde referred to the Manchester City colossus as a ‘big-name’ in the managerial world, and also branded him as a ‘world-beater’ already.

Considering Kompany has managed to guide his team to promotion while inculcating a U-turn in terms of style of play makes him one of the most sought-after coaches in the game.
While naming Vincent Kompany as the greatest centre-half to ever grace the Premier League, Ben Mee was quizzed about what he had heard about working under the Tottenham manager target by the Burnley players.
“From what I’ve spoken to the lads, they’ve enjoyed it. They’ve really enjoyed playing under him. He loves the game, clearly; involved in everything, massive turnaround in such a short space of time, done great and yeah, I think everyone’s just got high praise for him”, he said via Football Daily.
HITC View: Best for Tottenham to not take a risk on such an inexperienced manager
The 37-year-also is almost a wonderkid in the managerial scene and while he could become an instant superstar in the game, it would be a massive risk for Spurs to gamble on him.
Instead, Tottenham should keep Vincent Kompany in mind as a potential future manager, and take into consideration what players like Ben Mee are saying about him.
For the time being, the mess at the club is far too big for such a young coach to even have to contend with.
