Leeds United have now made enquiries into appointing Scott Parker as their new manager after Sam Allardyce’s exit.
Scott Parker is becoming a serious contender for the Leeds United job with enquiries now made.
That is according to TalkSPORT, who report that Leeds have now made contact over a move for Parker.
It’s suggested that Leeds have enquired into Parker’s availability as they consider appointing a new manager.
The report claims that Leeds are especially interested in Parker because of his track record of Championship promotion.
Parker guided Fulham to the Premier League in 2020 and repeated the trick with Bournemouth last year.
Leeds are looking for an instant return to the Premier League having been relegated last month.
Sam Allardyce has gone and Leeds could now move for Parker – who does have some history with Allardyce.

Parker actually worked under Allardyce very briefly at West Ham United.
Allardyce came in as West Ham back in the summer of 2011, after the Hammers had been relegated to the Championship.
Parker was West Ham’s key man at the time and he did feature under Allardyce in four games to start their Championship season.
Parker then made a very late move to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of August, bringing his time with Allardyce to an end.
Allardyce and Parker were even briefly together at Newcastle United way back in 2007.
Allardyce arrived as Newcastle boss that summer and decided to sell midfielder Parker to West Ham.
The explanation given by Allardyce was that he was happy to sell Parker in order to bring Joey Barton to Newcastle.
Now, Parker is in line to replace Allardyce as Leeds United boss and he would bring a very different style of play.
Parker’s Fulham and Bournemouth sides were very good in possession and a far cry from the direct style of Allardyce.
That may appeal to Leeds fans a little more, but some will doubt whether Parker has what it takes to eventually excel in the Premier League.
