Leeds United have considered a move for Tony Pulis as they weigh up replacements for Javi Gracia.
That is according to 90Min, who claim that Leeds are working through a list of candidates.
Sam Allardyce is looking like the favourite for the job with Gracia set to go.
Despite only appointing Gracia in February, Sunday’s 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth means the Spaniard is on his way out.
Leeds have been looking at a number of potential replacements and it’s suggested that Tony Pulis has been considered too.
The Whites appear to be going down the route of an experienced firefighter in the Premier League.
Allardyce and Pulis certainly fit that mould but it looks like the Welshman will miss out on the Elland Road job.

Where has Tony Pulis been of late?
Many will remember Pulis at Stoke City, where he worked wonders to take the club from the Championship all the way into Europe.
The football wasn’t pretty as Pulis went with a fairly long ball approach but it certainly worked.
Pulis left Stoke in 2013 and the Welshman has largely been seen as a short-term appointment.
Pulis impressed at Crystal Palace, winning nearly 43% of his games before taking charge of 121 games at West Bromwich Albion.
The 65-year-old became Middlesbrough boss in 2017 and won just shy of 44% of his games before being let go in 2019.
Pulis headed to Sheffield Wednesday in 2020 but was given just 10 games, winning only once before being sacked in December 2020.
More than two years on, Pulis remains out of work and could be an option for Leeds if the Allardyce deal collapses.
