Tottenham one of the top clubs who haven’t been linked, but they would arguably be the best fit due to their track record of giving chances to young players.
Hirst would also get the opportunity to work alongside Harry Kane, and pick up the work ethic which has elevated the England international among the world’s best.
The last time Tottenham signed a top youngster from the lower leagues it was Dele Alli, and Hirst’s contract wrangle gives them an opportunity to bring in another.
