Some Liverpool fans on social media have been drooling over Kaide Gordon after his performance against Hertha Berlin on Thursday.
The Reds may not have been victorious against the German outfit, but they got a bit more match practice in, and perhaps more importantly, they gave their young players a chance to shine.
Harvey Elliott started for the Merseyside outfit, but it was Gordon who caught the eye most off the bench.
The 16-year-old didn’t manage to grab a goal on this occasion, but his all-around play was impeccable, and you’d be forgiven for thinking he was a lot older than he actually is.
Realistically, Gordon could have 20 years of football ahead of him, and that’s a truly frightening prospect, especially if he continues to improve.
