Leeds United are reportedly keen on Gabriel Martinelli.

The summer transfer window may still be some months away, but that isn’t stopping Leeds United being linked with new signings.
The Whites are chasing promotion to the Premier League under Marcelo Bielsa, and after adding Kiko Casilla and Mateusz Bogusz in January, another player is now being linked.
Argentine Bielsa will have contacts around South America, and TEAMtalk now report that Leeds hold an interest in Ituano forward Gabriel Martinelli.
It’s claimed that Watford also want the 17-year-old, with a fee of £10million already on the teenager’s head as clubs start to notice his potential.
Leeds may need to win promotion to sanction such a deal, but fans may well be excited to see links to a young Brazilian attacker after the success of Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison in the Premier League.
However, Leeds may face face lofty competition, as Martinelli has already had trials with Barcelona as well as Leeds’ bitter rivals Manchester United.

Globo Esporte noted last month that Barca still want Martinelli for the future, so Leeds could find themselves scrapping with the Catalan giants for the teenager’s signature.
That would be quite the story this summer, with Leeds looking to show their pulling power under Bielsa with a move for a young forward seemingly wanted by some of the world’s elite.
