James Tavernier of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers is linked to Newcastle United.

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has told The Chronicle that he has no intention of signing Rangers star James Tavernier.
The Daily Mail reported earlier this month that the Gers’ captain was on Newcastle’s radar.
As of now, the Magpies have signed just the one player this summer – Joelinton for a club-record fee.
And although Bruce ‘hates’ talking about other teams’ players, the newly-appointed manager admits that the Rangers right-back isn’t on his radar.
He told The Chronicle: “I really don’t know where that came from and I hate it when people talk abut my players so I’m not going to comment on anybody else’s.”
This is the time of the season where managers are often ‘coy’ when responding to transfer questions, but on this occasion it doesn’t seem as if the Newcastle boss does want the Rangers star.
It’ll be a nervy last eight days or so for fans of the Ibrox club. They will know that if a Premier League team doesn’t come in for Tavernier before their transfer window shuts, there’s a good chance he’s staying in Glasgow.
