The Newcastle United winger spent the second half of last season to Sheffield Wednesday.

The Newcastle United winger, Rolando Aarons, has admitted to reminiscing about his Sheffield Wednesday loan spell on Tuesday.
Aarons spent the second half of last season to Wednesday, and impressed before succumbing to the injury that kept him out of the Owls’ unsuccessful push for the play-offs.
Posting via his Instagram account earlier, the 23-year-old shared footage of his time at Hillsborough and wrote: “Sat at my mums reminiscing about @swfcofficial ♂️ My guy @feeltheball with another one ☝”.
Having seemingly incurred the wrath of some Newcastle supporters in doing so, Aarons later added in a separate post: “@NUFC fans I do the same about us too”.
Many of Sheffield Wednesday persuasion would welcome Aarons back to Hillsborough this summer, although there is little to suggest such a move could be on the cards.

That being said, the Jamaica-born player appears to be facing an uncertain future at Newcastle, for whom he last played in December 2017.
Newcastle United, Sheffield Wednesday or somebody else – for whom will Aarons be plying his trade next season?
